13.10.2010/ KONINCKX Uterine Manipulator

The KONINCKX Uterine Manipulator can be used for all gynecological laparoscopic procedures (including chromopertubation).

Using the handle, the uterus can be anteflexed, retroflexed, laterally mobilized, and, in particular, rotated. For Total Laparoscopic Hysterectomy (TLH), the traumatic (threaded) insert is used.
This insert is placed into the fixture at the distal end of the manipulator and is screwed into the cervical canal. In addition, a cap with a cone can be slid over the sheath to delineate the fornix when opening the vagina.

The cones are available in different sizes to fit various cervix sizes. After the respective insert is introduced into the uterus, it can be spread, and the uterine manipulator can be fixed in place.
The spread insert also serves to rotate the uterus.
