All the team in Irish Hospital Supplies are thrilled to announce the launch of our brand new website. After months of hard work and dedication, we’re excited to share this fresh, updated online space with you. We’ve been working tirelessly to create a platform that’s not only visually appealing but also incredibly user-friendly and packed with valuable content. We hope this new online presence gives you a much greater insight into the depth of the company and a greater understanding for our reach into the medical arena. 

Our main goal was to identify areas where we could improve your user experience. We’ve simplified the navigation, making it easier for you to find what you’re looking for and we’ve focused on making the site more intuitive and easier to use, whether you’re on your desktop or mobile. A recent article in Forbes Magazine has focussed on the relevance of ESG (Economic, Social & Governance) in todays marketplace. The Associate Professor of Strategy, Ioannis Ioannou at the London Business School is challenging the concept of how relevant it is in todays shifting marketplace. Whilst some may argue that it is and has always been a bottom line exercise, others believe that it is a necessary exercise for the betterment of the planet. In summary, it is something that we must engage in as part of our overall strategy, yet, know that it doesn’t always have to be a justifiable bottom line exercise.

SERVICE MANAGER

As a market leading distributor of medical and surgical equipment, we are seeking a Technical Service Manager in Bray, County Wicklow.

As an Irish owned company set up nearly 60 years ago, we distribute medical and surgical equipment along with supplying and servicing equipment from some of the biggest brands in the healthcare industry. We have a long standing relationship with reputable clients throughout the country. Therefore, due to our continued success and a healthy pipeline of work, we are seeking a Technical Service Manager in Bray, County Wicklow.

THE ROLE

The successful applicant will split their time between the Bray Office, on site in hospitals across the country and working from home, with the following duties:

Manage a team made up of service engineers and coordinators.
Advise and ensure all staff are up to date with technical training and best practices.
Support the sales team with technical assistance when required.
Liaise with customers regarding service contracts, quotations for repairs etc.
Strategise and install new equipment installations.

THE PERSON

We are looking to speak to those from the following backgrounds:
This role is well suited for time served Medical Engineers looking to make a step-up.
Previous service management experience a plus but not a prerequisite.
Must have previous client facing experience in a medical or similar setting.
