Irrigation and insufflation adapter

Application in CO2 insufflation:
In gastrointestinal endoscopy, air is a widely used insufflation gas. However, numerous studies have shown that examinations using CO2 gas instead of air are associated with significantly reduced postinterventional pain.

KARL STORZ now offers the option of connecting KARL STORZ video endoscopes with the KARL STORZ Electronic ENDOFLATOR via the working channel.
This allows you to take full advantage of insufflation with CO2 gas, creating optimal conditions for significantly increasing patient satisfaction and patient comfort.

Application in irrigation:
For irrigation in therapeutic procedures, the adapter can be used together with a KARL STORZ ENDOMAT LC roller pump.
