The IT solution for efficient OR management

Today's operating rooms are managed like profit centers. The success of surgery is crucial, but the productivity of processes is important as well. The ORchestrion® software solution from KARL STORZ, how to organize GmbH, and inubit AG facilitates the reduction of running costs by up to 30% by optimizing the planning and execution of surgeries (e.g., reducing turnover times to 15 minutes), optimizing staff, and ensuring a smooth flow of information between the operating rooms and the hospital information system.

ORchestrion®, an integrated process and resource management tool, is a web-based modular system that monitors every step of the OR's value-creation chain. The entire process is steered, from treatment planning to surgery and patient transport back to the ward.

Thanks to standardized interfaces, ORchestrion® can be easily integrated into hospitals' existing IT structures. The modular system structure can be adapted to a hospital's specific needs and presents a dynamic platform for integrating future developments and improvements. To adequately complement the modular system, an innovative, multi-level service concept was developed, in which diagnosis, service, and software upgrades can be conveniently performed via a remote connection.
